Heading into a Wall , 2018

The articulated, four legged steel rod object recalls a household pet. Yet in this alternative domesticity, the pet is mechanical. Its obstinate, senseless, and almost carnal movements against the wall provide an analogy of sorts to the consumption associated with contemporary domesticity.

Materials: Steel rods and hardware, recycled bicycle gears and chain, windshield wiper motor and wires.
